Haight Street Art Center returned to BottleRock for the second year featuring artists: Courtney Callahan, Gary Houston, and Chris Shaw. Hundreds of silkscreen posters were printed by the artists, on-site at the festival in Napa Valley, CA from May 27-29, 2016 and given away FREE each day on a first come, first serve basis system.

The third episode of the short film documentary series “Paper, Ink and Rock n’ Roll – A History of Rock Posters” focuses on the original poster art of Chris Shaw, whose body of work includes paintings, backdrops & rock posters since the mid ‘80’s. Chris creates posters using a myriad of styles and techniques, from hand-inked illustrations, to deeply layered digital collages. He has made dozens of posters for Bill Graham Presents and the Fillmore Auditorium in San Francisco. Currently he works with many bands and venues worldwide from his studio in Oakland, CA and is the Creative Director for the Moonalice poster series.
